Inaugurated May 8th, 1995, date of birthday of the Nazi surrender, this place of memory was created on the initiative of a collective of former Resistance fighters and transported convicts. These wished to show dark years which saw the defeat of France and its occupation.
On 250 m2 and through numerous documents and objects of period, this museum will make you relive the birth of the internal and outside Resistance supported by the Allies. The museum also evokes the liberation of the region and the commitment of Loir-et-Chériens in front of GermansDeducted on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean.
