Based in 1277, the convent of the Dominicans (or Jacobins) shelters Museum of natural history today. It presents a permanent exposure on natural resources and variety of Blésois. An exposure to include and protect our environment. By following the longe of the Loire, the public is invited to discover the variety of Blésois: geologic variety, variety of the circles, the variety of the flora and the fauna, through dioramas, interactive modules, models and audiovisual animations.
The museum also proposes a space discovery, which allows to observe, to manipulate and to experiment, within the framework of the activities proposed to the children and to the school (on Wednesdays-museums, thematic studios). A space documentation, finally, groups includes reviews, books and videos in free consultation.
