Many tools, videos, models, maps, games, knots are available to all and to share in order to understand the Loire, its history, its nature and its functioning. Take advantage of the two balconies to admire the landscape and identify the birds, our reception area to deepen your knowledge with a place dedicated to documentation (books, video...), information and logistics (wifi, telephone recharge, bicycle reception...). Finally, take a 100% Loire break and enjoy a Loire drink and local ice cream...

You are invited to discover a menu that evolves according to the seasons, in a refined ambiance featuring warm tones, wood and brass. Our gourmet restaurant can accommodate up to 65 people in the evening and, weather permitting, on the terrace. Alexandre Trazeres, our chef, welcomes you to share with you his passion for traditional, local cuisine and great freshness, while respecting the quality of products from local breeders and farmers. Brunch every Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Le Bar du Relais offers a bistro menu, to be enjoyed for lunch and dinner, indoors or on the terrace. Certain closing days may apply depending on the season. Reservations at the Grand Saint-Michel are strongly recommended.

11 km from Blois, the castles of Chambord and Cheverny and 45 km from the Beauval zoo, the Lodges of Blois-Chambord offer 46 wood-clad accommodation in a preserved and natural setting of 3 hectares: cabin-lodges on stilts, barrels, mobile homes, chalets, lodge floating on a pond. You can hike and ride a bike in the two large forests of Boulogne and Russy or on the bike circuits of the Pays des Châteaux. We offer bicycle rental to visit the Castles of Chambord and Cheverny. In summer, a large supervised natural swimming pool located at 500 m will allow you to swim and cool off (entrance fee), the campsite is also close to 2 golf courses (the closest at 12 km). On the campsite you can enjoy the various facilities with your family, such as the playground with its large trampoline, the indoor heated swimming pool, the clubhouse, the pétanque area, two small fishing ponds populated with carp and roach . During the summer holidays, the campsite comes alive and offers: for children, discovery workshops of the site's flora and fauna, a pétanque tournament For adults and children: initiation to archery, initiation to slackline, stargazing evenings Paying facilities and services: sauna, bicycle rental, barbecue for non-premium accommodation, rental of sheets and towels, grocery corner, laundromat. In addition, the Lodges can accommodate groups and seminars in a 100m2 yurt, air-conditioned in summer and heated out of season. The site is fully covered by wifi. Domaine Daridan is a 21 hectare family run estate in Cour-Cheverny, in the heart of the Loire Valley, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, between the Château de Blois, the Château de Chambord and the Château de Cheverny. Mindful of the need to respect the environment and the terroir, Benoit Daridan took over the estate in 2001 choosing to use integrated winegrowing methods for wich he has received the HVE3 (High Environmental Value level 3) certification. In 2020, acquisition of vines in Touraine "Les Pierres Blanches" in order to extend our range. We mainly produce Cheverny AOC, Cour-Cheverny AOC and Touraine AOC wines. The generous and gourmet character of our wines, some of which are marked by an ageing in oak barrel, are expressed with delicacy and elegance. It leaves sweet and fragrant notes in our whites wines. Our red wines are showing aromas of red and wild fruits with soft tannins.

The area around the camp site offers no less than 300 km of way marked tracks between the chateaux and charming local villages. Candé sur Beuvron is on the long distance cycle track ‘la Loire à Vélo’ which crosses France for the west to the east. From the site a signposted cycle track takes you to Chaumont, Blois and Chambord.
